Ask any female what they like about their skin and we guarantee you will never hear the words, “I just love my pores!”

Think of skin peels as being a formula one car for your skin. While your active skincare is doing an incredible job of getting you from A to B every day, your skin peels accelerate your skin from zero to one hundred in under 30 minutes.
Like with your skincare, the right skin peel needs to be matched exactly to your specific skin and our Script Skincare Practitioners are experts at this. Our peel menu is comprehensive and treats everything from acne, pores, congestion and oily skin, to age spots, pigmentation and intense exfoliation.
Peels can be tailored specifically to both your skin’s needs as well as your lifestyle requirements. For example, you can elect to have a peel that has more intense downtime but a more immediate result, versus one that is less intense initially but is more subtle in its outcomes. Initially a series of peels are generally recommended to achieve best results and each one acts differently depending on the condition to be treated. After the initial course, sporadic ongoing maintenance treatments can be beneficial.
The process of a peel involves your Script Skincare practitioner removing all makeup and thoroughly cleaning the area to be treated. The peeling agent is then applied to the skin. Some peels are left on and worn home, while others are washed off or neutralised during the appointment. It is common to feel a mild stinging or hot sensation during the treatment.
Depending on the peel you have had, you may or may not ‘peel,’ however at the very least it is most likely you will experience a light exfoliation. Although everyone responds differently it is usual to look quite normal the day after treatment.
We all know that antioxidants in our topical skincare are some of the most potent actives going around. But as founder of Script Skincare, Associate Professor Greg Goodman explains, there is a lot of merit in eating your antioxidants too.
Vitamin A is often called the ‘normalising’ vitamin. But don’t let that fool you. It’s the only vitamin with proven clinical benefits, a major player in your anti-ageing artillery, and when it comes to supporting and normalising the skin’s functions, it can be a saviour for acne sufferers too.
